About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our Talent Operations Team. You will report to the Talent Operations Senior Manager and lead our Funnel Operations team, responsible for managing the talent pipeline and assessment processes.

Our Funnel Operations team ensures that all processes for bringing talent into the network and matching them with roles operate seamlessly. This includes pipeline management, role classification based on market trends and client needs, expediting high-priority roles, managing the technical assessment flow, ensuring data integrity procedures, and maintaining quality assurance to meet the highest standards.

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in a generalist operational role at a start-up or scale-up, who knows how to streamline and automate processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Funnel Operations team to ensure that all operational elements of the assessment, sourcing, and matching processes are smooth and efficient.
  • Set clear metrics for the Funnel Operations team and create a roadmap to achieve success. The north star will be connecting talented individuals with opportunities quickly, ensuring ease for the talent and efficiency for internal stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with the product team to drive impactful improvements.
  • Own, maintain, and update all processes to ensure the team operates efficiently, with a focus on automation where possible.

Pipeline Management:

  • Oversee and own day-to-day pipeline operations, identify trends, create reports, and collaborate with various departments to ensure roles progress through the funnel and data remains accurate and up-to-date.
  • Understand the entire pipeline, including urgency in BAU (Business as Usual) tasks, and manage blockers/escalations.
  • Develop strategies for filling hard-to-fill roles and think creatively about incentivizing partners to help source the right talent.

Assessment:

  • Support the Assessment Team Lead in team management, including onboarding new team members.
  • Manage the team's capacity, ensuring the availability of interview slots for on-demand technical assessments.
  • Optimize existing processes, workflows, and organizational tools.

Data Analysis and Quality:

  • Collect, organize, and analyze datasets from various sources to provide insights on weekly performance and execute data-driven action plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Monitor data quality and implement processes for data validation and improvement.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in a generalist operational role at a start-up or scale-up, or as a consultant in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience driving matrixed projects with stakeholders from various teams, achieving results without direct management authority.
  • Experience managing teams with diverse workflows and across time zones.
  • Ability to think creatively and break complex problems into manageable parts.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence in handling and synthesizing large datasets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A curious, mission-driven nature.
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves, execute processes, and take ownership of escalations, seeing them through to resolution.
