WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR (Event Contractors)
If you value:
FLEXIBILITY – Most BallerTV events take place on weekends, with occasional setup days before the event. As an independent contractor, you choose which events you’d like to work.
EXCITEMENT – Spend your weekend at the Northern Nevada Juniors Volleyball Club: High Sierra Invitational (2026) while helping families watch matches from anywhere in the world. Exceptional team members may also have opportunities to travel to larger regional and national events.
NEW TECHNOLOGY – Gain hands-on experience using BallerTV’s industry-leading live streaming equipment and software.
SUPPORT – We provide training, Best Practices, and ongoing support to help you succeed at every event.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
TRACK – Receive, organize, and transport event equipment, including cameras and other production gear.
SET UP – Build and configure BallerTV’s live-streaming systems during setup on Thursday evening and before competition begins.
MONITOR – Keep each livestream running smoothly by monitoring video quality, troubleshooting equipment, and communicating with the BallerTV Operations team throughout the event.
ENJOY – Get paid to watch live youth volleyball while helping athletes and families capture unforgettable moments.
SCHEDULE & PAY
This is a part-time, independent contractor position.
- Setup/Training: Thursday evening, September 3, 2026
- Event Days: Friday, September 4 and Saturday, September 5, 2026
- Shifts may begin as early as 6:00 AM and run as late as 10:00 PM.
- You may be asked to travel up to 40 miles one way.
- Pay: $18/hour
Please note: Event days can exceed 12 hours. Weekend tournaments often involve long days on your feet and require lifting and moving production equipment.
If you’re unable to work the September 4–5 event but are a great fit, we’d still love to hear from you. We’re actively building our Site Lead and Event Contractor teams for future BallerTV events throughout Reno, Sparks, Carson City, and the surrounding Northern Nevada area.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must successfully complete a pre-event background check.
- Must be comfortable using iPhones and other iOS devices.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must maintain a professional, positive attitude.
- Must be able to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift and move production equipment throughout the day.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with live event production, sports broadcasting, photography/videography, or customer service.
- Interest in youth sports, including volleyball, basketball, football, soccer, baseball, lacrosse, wrestling, or similar sports.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to transport event equipment.
