Senior Product Marketing Manager
Marketing & Communications, Product
United States
At EdSights, we’re building technology that helps colleges and universities better understand and support their students—at scale. Our platform amplifies the student voice in real time, giving institutions the insights they need to improve outcomes and retention. Today, we partner with 250+ colleges and universities across the country and are growing quickly.
We’re backed by a recent $80M investment from JMI Equity and are in a phase of rapid execution and expansion. This role is an opportunity to do meaningful, hands-on work at a high-growth startup tackling one of higher education’s most urgent problems: the college dropout crisis.
You’ll join a driven, thoughtful team that values ownership, moves quickly, and cares deeply about building products that make a measurable difference for students.
“EdSights has perhaps the world’s most valuable data set on what college students need to navigate their academic lives.”

The Opportunity
We're building technology that changes outcomes for real students, and we're doing it in a market that's evolving quickly, with a product roadmap to match. We're looking for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager who's energized by both the mission and the momentum, and has the range to take a compelling product narrative from positioning all the way through to pipeline impact. This is a senior individual contributor role, reporting to the Head of Marketing.
You'll be the "CMO of your segment" — owning the product positioning, narrative, and go-to-market strategy that shapes how your market understands and buys what we build. You'll work closely with Product to ensure market signal influences what comes next, develop the story that drives awareness and pipeline across channels, and ensure Sales and CX can execute on that narrative with confidence.
What You'll Do
Own positioning and GTM strategy
- Define and own the positioning and messaging for your product line(s)
- Lead launch planning for new features and product releases — from messaging through channel strategy — in close partnership with Product and Growth Marketing
- Own ongoing competitive research, synthesizing insights into clear context the GTM and Product teams can act on
- Serve as the primary marketing voice in product conversations, translating market insight into actionable input on roadmap priorities
Bring the product story to market
- Partner with Growth and Event Marketing to develop integrated campaigns that drive awareness and pipeline for your product and target segment
- Develop content across channels (i.e. blog posts, case studies, conference presentations) that drives adoption and shapes how the market thinks about EdSights
Translate strategy into GTM execution
- Partner with Sales and CX leadership to understand where deals are won and lost and where customers expand or churn, and use those insights to sharpen positioning and enablement
- Ensure AEs, BDRs, and CX teams can go to market with a crisp, confident story, developing the frameworks and materials that help them execute effectively
About You
- 4–7+ years of B2B product marketing experience, preferably at a growth-stage SaaS company
- Proven track record of owning end-to-end GTM motions (from positioning through launch through growth) with demonstrated pipeline and revenue impact
- Thrives in a sales-led GTM motion and is a natural cross-functional partner. You understand how a revenue-focused organization operates and can drive alignment across it, from PMs and fellow marketers to sales leadership and the executive team
- Excellent communicator and writer; you can translate complex product capabilities into crisp, compelling customer-facing messaging
- Actively uses AI to move faster and thinks systematically about how to scale what's working, building repeatable processes and assets that raise the output of the whole GTM team
Nice to Haves
- Experience in EdTech or higher education, particularly marketing to (or sitting on) Enrollment, Student Success, and/or Admissions teams
- Prior experience as the first or only PMM at a company, where you built programs from scratch
