Responsibilities
- Maintains the fixed asset accounting process and reconciliations
- Maintains accounting for leases
- Manages the company’s sales tax process and related reporting
- Maintains the Company’s treasury function, including monthly bank reconciliationsInvolved in accounting for revenue and cost of revenue
- Reconciles balance sheet accounts monthly as part of the monthly close process
- Prepares monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis as needed
- Reviews terms of new sales contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition and compliance with GAAP and other applicable reporting requirements
- Prepares and compiles documentation for external auditors
- Involved in special accounting and finance projects, including researching accounting guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-3+ years of accounting experience
- Public accounting experience a plus
- CPA license a plus
- Solid understanding of US GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and organize large amounts of data
- Excellent problem solving and research skills on complex accounting issues
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- A positive can-do attitude
- Willingness to be onsite at our Sugar House HQ (M-F)
