Responsibilities
- Executive Communication Alignment: Partner closely with the CEO and executive team to craft messages that effectively convey the CEO’s vision, strategy, and priorities, fostering a unified company culture.
- Content Development: Create, review, and refine written, visual, and video content to communicate strategic initiatives, critical decisions, and key business updates across multiple channels, including email, Slack, company meetings, and video updates.
- Presentation Development: Develop presentations and talking points for the CEO and other executives for company-wide meetings, quarterly business updates, First Friday meetings, and leadership events, ensuring complex information is accessible and engaging.
- In-Person Engagements: Organize and support in-person communication sessions, including executive Q&As, small group discussions, and company-wide events to promote transparency and accessibility to leadership.
- Multi-Channel Communication Strategy: Design and implement a multi-channel internal communications plan that leverages Slack, video, and email to reach all employees effectively, driving engagement and consistency across locations.
- Employee Engagement & Feedback: Build systems for capturing employee feedback and insights to gauge the effectiveness of internal communications. Adjust communication strategies based on employee sentiment and emerging needs.
- Brand Consistency & Culture: Ensure all communications are in line with the company’s brand, tone, and culture, helping to foster a cohesive and inclusive work environment.
- Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders: Work cross-functionally with all departments to support internal communications needs related to policy changes, culture initiatives, employee resources, and more.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience in a technology-driven organization is preferred.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills, with a proven track record of simplifying complex topics.
- Strong proficiency with internal communication tools, including Slack, video conferencing platforms, and presentation software.
- High emotional intelligence, with the ability to handle sensitive communications with discretion and authenticity.
- Proven track record of fostering employee engagement and driving alignment with strategic initiatives.
