Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver product vision, strategy, and specifications for AI-driven features and enhancements.
  • Lead planning and communication of product functionality, user experience, and customer impact—ensuring AI capabilities are intuitive, trusted, and valuable.
  • Act as a Product Evangelist, championing Filevine’s AI-first vision across teams and to our customers.
  • Translate complex business and customer needs into clear product requirements, rules, flows, and use cases—especially where AI-driven automation or insights are involved.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, and design to build usable, high-quality AI experiences and working solutions.
  • Analyze data, customer research, and feedback to identify opportunities where AI can reduce friction, unlock insights, and improve outcomes.
  • Break down work into incremental user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria and coordinate with engineering to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks and prioritize backlog in alignment with both business goals and long-term AI product direction.
  • Partner closely with other Product Managers and Team Leads to execute against the AI roadmap and broader platform strategy.
  • Conduct acceptance testing in partnership with QA, engineers, and customers—validating both functional and ethical dimensions of AI features.
  • Drive zero-to-one product launches, contributing to Filevine’s go-to-market strategy for AI-powered tools.
  • Mentor Associate and mid-level Product Managers in AI product process, data-driven decision making, and product leadership.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience in SaaS, with AI product experience strongly preferred (ML-powered products, NLP, automation, workflow intelligence).
  • Deep knowledge of software development methodologies and the product lifecycle, with an emphasis on shipping AI/ML features responsibly and at scale.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with the ability to measure AI outcomes (accuracy, efficiency, adoption, trust).
  • Ability to balance innovation with business outcomes, adapting quickly to changing priorities while keeping long-term vision in focus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—able to translate AI concepts into clear business value.
  • Experience working in Agile/Lean delivery frameworks, with an emphasis on experimentation and iteration.
  • A passion for driving efficiency, quality, and measurable value for customers through AI.
  • Preferred: Experience in Legal Tech or related verticals, or deep familiarity with compliance-heavy industries.
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field; equivalent certifications or direct work experience considered.
