What You'll Do
- Define and implement pricing strategies for new products, features, and categories (e.g., AI offerings).Help drive competitive benchmarking, market research, and customer value analysis to support pricing decisions.
- Recommend and own the evolution of monetization models, balancing growth, profitability, product gross margins, and customer adoption.
- Gather information to perform effective product cost analysis
- Manage day-to-day operations of the pricing desk, serving as the escalation point for pricing requests.
- Partner closely with the sales team to evaluate deal structures, discounting, and special terms.
- Establish and enforce pricing guardrails to ensure compliance with margin and revenue objectives.
- Partner with Finance to model the financial impact of pricing changes and drive predictability in revenue planning.
- Work with Product and Marketing to align pricing with product positioning, packaging, tracking and go-to-market strategy.
- Train and enable the sales team on pricing policies, ensuring consistent application across deals and regions.
- Monitor and report on pricing effectiveness, including win/loss analysis, discount trends, and deal velocity.
- Build dashboards and KPIs to measure the impact of pricing strategies on revenue and profitability.
- Provide executive-level recommendations on opportunities to refine pricing for growth and retention

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in pricing, revenue operations, or financial strategyProven experience in SaaS/software pricing models (subscription, consumption-based, tiered, and value-based).
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools.
- Experience with Salesforce and/or CPQ systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively with executives and frontline teams.
- Track record of enforcing pricing discipline while enabling growth and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships.
