Responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR business partner and point of contact for assigned business units, coaching managers on performance expectations, feedback, accountability, and difficult conversations.
- Support new and existing managers in building leadership skills and consistently applying Filevine’s performance management practices.
- Provide guidance on organizational health, team dynamics, workforce planning, and early intervention for performance concerns through documentation and coaching.
- Partner with Legal and People leadership to investigate and resolve employee relations issues, delivering balanced recommendations that reduce risk while fostering a healthy culture.
- Ensure compensation decisions, promotions, and job changes align with Filevine’s job leveling framework, salary bands, and FLSA classifications; collaborate with Finance on headcount and pay planning.
- Guide leaders through performance reviews, calibrate ratings, identify high-potential talent, and support career development and effective onboarding for new hires.
- Manage compliance processes including ADA accommodations, medical reviews, return-to-work plans, policy interpretation, and consistent application of workplace policies across locations.
- Support organizational changes, restructures, and communication plans while reinforcing Filevine’s cultural values of accountability, ownership, professionalism, inclusion, and psychological safety.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HRBP, HR Generalist, or People Operations experience in a fast-paced environment. SaaS experience strongly preferred.
- Strong coaching skills and the ability to influence leaders at all levels.
- Solid understanding of FLSA, ADA, FMLA, and general employment law.
- Experience managing employee relations cases from intake to recommendation.
- Comfortable working with compensation data, leveling frameworks, and headcount planning.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Sound judgment, high integrity, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
