Responsibilities

  • Onboarding Support: Administer the logistics for new employee onboarding, including kit preparation, orientation scheduling, and document collection.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist with the coordination of open enrollments and serve as the first point of contact for basic employee benefit inquiries.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personnel records and digital files within our HRIS.
  • Internal Communications: Help draft and distribute internal updates regarding company policies, status changes, and team events.
  • Compliance Assistance: Support the maintenance of federal and state labor law postings and basic compliance record-keeping.
  • Inquiry Routing: Monitor the HR inbox and respond to routine inquiries or escalate complex employee relations issues to leadership.
  • Payroll Support: Assist with administrative data entry and verification for payroll processing.
  • Exit Logistics: Coordinate the administrative side of employee off-boarding, including scheduling exit interviews and collecting company equipment.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
  • Basic understanding of HR administrative practices and record-keeping.
  • A helpful "customer service" mindset when interacting with employees.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 0–2 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and a willingness to learn HRIS/HRMS platforms.
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to shift tasks and priorities when circumstances change
