Responsibilities

  • AI Category Leadership: Own the positioning and messaging for Filevine’s AI suite, translating complex LLM capabilities into clear, ROI-driven value for legal professionals.
  • GTM Orchestration: Lead end-to-end product launch strategies, ensuring tight alignment across Sales, Product, and Customer Success.
  • Strategic Pricing: Partner with Finance and Product to evolve pricing models, specifically focusing on the transition to AI-consumption and value-based billing.
  • Expansion & Advocacy: Build a world-class customer advocacy program and collaborate with Revenue teams to identify "white space" for upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Establish a "battlecard culture" to ensure the field knows exactly how to win against legacy software and emerging AI point solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Deeply analyze legal market trends and buyer behavior to identify new opportunities for Filevine’s AI offerings.
  • Chief Storyteller: Personally own the narrative for high-stakes messaging, including keynote presentations, foundational whitepapers, and technical demos.
  • Sales & Partner Enablement: Educate internal teams and partners on the competitive landscape and Filevine’s unique technical advantages.
  • Use Case Activation: Develop tailored positioning that resonates across the spectrum, from solo practitioners to "Big Law" executives.
  • Team Leadership: Scale and mentor a high-performance team of PMMs and GTM managers, defining the strategy, budget, and OKRs for the department

Qualifications

  • Professional Experience: 10+ years of marketing experience in B2B tech, with at least 5+ years in leadership roles managing high-performing Product and Customer Marketing teams.
  • Obsessive Market & Customer Curiosity: You are the person who listens to every call you can get your hands on, proactively calls customers to learn their friction points firsthand, and stays ahead of the what's next by devouring industry publications.
  • The Player-Coach DNA: You must be a practitioner-leader with a proven track record of being on the tools. We are looking for a prolific writer who has personally authored foundational messaging, technical whitepapers, and high-stakes keynote presentations within the last 24 months.
  • Strategic GTM Mastery: Expert-level ability to design and execute global go-to-market strategies, including product launches, pricing/packaging evolution, and the development of integrated GTM plays across Sales, Product, and Marketing.
  • AI & Technical Literacy: A deep functional understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and legal-tech infrastructure. You must be able to translate complex technical concepts into simple, intuitive, and emotionally resonant value propositions for legal professionals.
  • Market Intelligence: Demonstrated experience leading building robust Competitive Intelligence functions that deliver actionable battlecards and win/loss insights.
  • Communication & Presence: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the executive presence to present to Boards, influence C-level stakeholders, and act as a public-facing spokesperson for the brand.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required; an MBA or JD is considered a major plus.
  • Strategic Proximity & Travel: For leaders not based in Salt Lake City, a commitment to frequent travel to HQ is essential to collaborate in person with the CEO, CMO, and CPO.
