Java Architect (Builder & Innovator)

Are you a Java Architect who wants to build something new, not just maintain someone else's code? Interested in getting in on the AI revolution? We need a coding leader who can help us invent a new capabilities from a blank slate, prioritize speed and impact, and evolve them as we scale.

This isn't an ivory tower position. You will be the force behind a groundbreaking AI project, getting your hands dirty and inspiring others to join you. We need a doer, not just a planner, who knows when and how to prioritize between delivery and discovery. It's a chance to plan for scale the future while going to market today.

Your Mission:

• Invent, design, and build a new, scalable Java/Python-based Agentic AI platform. (AI skills helpful, not required)
• Teach and motivate a team of developers to deliver at speed.
• Balance technical debt with market demands, and know when to prioritize one over the other.
• Work closely with Product Design to build exactly what our customer needs.

• Deep expertise with modern Java/Python and services architecture.
• Proven experience building and evolving systems.

Skills

• Expert Java or Python development
• Familiarity with front-end development (React, Vue, Angular, Node.js etc.)
• Data and systems modeling
• Agile methodologies
• AI or ML background is a serious plus, not required but AI curiosity is
• Coding best practices (patterns, software lifecycle, TDD, code smells, etc.)
• Microservices Architecture experience
