Position
The Production Lead supports daily manufacturing operations by guiding production staff, ensuring quality and safety standards, and driving efficient workflow across the production line. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to meet production goals while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Location: Onsite in Sandy, UT

What You Will Do
• Lead and support production line staff in completing daily tasks
• Assign workstations, balance workloads, and adjust staffing as needed
• Train team members on SOPs, safety practices, and assembly processes
• Monitor production flow and resolve bottlenecks or interruptions
• Perform in-process quality checks and escalate issues as needed
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and safety protocols
• Verify materials, tools, and equipment readiness prior to production
• Coordinate with supply chain or inventory teams on material needs
• Track production metrics including output, scrap, and downtime
• Communicate updates during shift handoffs and team meetings
• Identify and recommend process improvements

Who You Are and What You Bring
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production operations
• Demonstrated leadership or team lead experience
• Strong communication and team coaching skills
• Ability to read work instructions and follow SOPs
• Basic computer skills (Excel, ERP systems, or production tracking tools)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

Desired But Not Required
• Experience with electronics or electro-mechanical assembly
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices
• Ability to troubleshoot basic production equipment issues
• Experience in a low-volume, high-mix production environment

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $18.46/hr – $27.69/hr. Pay ranges are determined by role, job level and primary job location. The range displayed reflects the reasonable range we anticipate paying for this position and reflects the cost of labor within several U.S. geographic markets. The specific salary offered within the range will depend on various factors including, but not limited to the candidate’s relevant and prior experience, education, skills, and primary work location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each position. Pay ranges are typically reviewed and updated annually.
