We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to fulfill Neighbor's first core value: Hire & Develop the Best. Our ideal candidate is passionate about every phase of the recruiting lifecycle and does not shy away from rigorous hiring standards. You will partner with business operators throughout the company and will be a one-stop-shop for all recruiting needs. You will find that each employee at Neighbor understands their role in recruiting exceptional talent, making this an outstanding place to lead out on recruiting efforts. You will report directly to Dalton Brough, Head of Human Resources. On occasion, you will be asked to put on your HR hat to optimize and refine the employee experience at Neighbor.

The Problems You'll Solve

  • Learn Neighbor’s business inside and out so you can be a strategic partner to clients and candidates
  • Run the full recruitment life cycle, from initial outreach to closing for high quality and niche talent
  • Relentlessly build candidate pipelines through passive outreach, job boards, internal and external referrals, and other channels we haven't considered
  • Facilitate an interviewing experience that accurately assesses exceptional talent while removing bias
  • Coach business operators to become world-class recruiters
  • Understand the “bigger picture” and how each hire ties into Neighbor’s larger scale business goals and objectives
  • Be the face of Neighbor to our candidates! Maintain professional and courteous communication with candidates to develop long-term relationships
  • Be the gatekeeper to Neighbor's outstanding culture without compromising Neighbor's hiring standards
  • Improve Neighbor's People Operations, including onboarding, offboarding, event planning, benefits, systems administration, and office management

About You

  • 1-3 years of recruiting experience, ideally at a growth-stage tech startup or recruiting agency
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in HR or Business Management
  • SHRM or HRCI certification considered a plus
  • Sales and/or customer service experience considered a plus
  • First principles thinking approach; you are talented at removing roadblocks and creative problem solving
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; you don't mince words, and you're not afraid to push back
  • Confident, coachable, and enthusiastic team player who thrives in a fast-moving environment
  • Understanding of how to use data to validate the success of hiring efforts
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • More than anything else, you genuinely care about your clients, candidates, and the success of Neighbor
