To that end, we build tech bootcamp-style courses, in partnership with universities, ensuring any undergraduate student, especially those with a liberal arts background, have in-demand skills that lead to great employment outcomes.

To serve more students, we are expanding our instructional team with opportunities for Instructors in our online Web Development (Learn to Code) experience, led by Dr. Matt Small. This role is about helping students engage and learn through the course materials by facilitating live, online lectures we call LiveLabs. Approximately 15-20 hours per week.

Job Description

Rockstar teacher and facilitator who:

  • Will incorporate their passion for Web Development and their “real-world” experiences into the learning topics provided, and online lectures.
  • Has high energy and is able to convey passion for Web Development to a large live and online audience (100-200 students).
  • Supports student learning through a weekly Study Hall.
  • Is hyper focused on helping students succeed and will be an active member of a teaching team – consisting of Instructor Associates and Program Advisors – that works together to own the success of our students.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching or tutoring web development (3+ terms)
  • Experience learning applied technical skills professionally or in a bootcamp, preferred.
  • University or equivalent education in a related field such as Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent verbal communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.

  • Competitive salary at $8,000 for the first semester, with performance based raises for following semesters
