Through our flagship program, The Global Tech Experience, we partner with universities to offer students credit-bearing online courses that ensure they are career-ready.

We are expanding our teaching team to meet the demands of our growing student population with opportunities for HelpHub Specialists across all of our Tracks. HelpHub Specialists support students with academic questions on assignments and projects.

The time commitment is approximately 15-30 working hours per week, and weekend work is required.

*Please note that this opportunity is only available to those who have completed both Parts (courses) for one of the following Tracks:

• Digital Marketing
• Part 1: Ecommerce Marketing with Shopify
• Part 2: Social Media and Search Marketing (Also known as: Customer Acquisition)
• Coding for Web
• Part 1: Intro to Web Development with HTML, CSS
• Part 2: Web Development with JavaScript & APIs
• Data Analytics
• Part 1: Intro to Data Analytics
• Part 2: Data Visualization with Tableau
• Coding for Data
• Part 1: Data Wrangling with SQL
• Part 2: Intro to Python for Data

Job Description
A HelpHub Specialist (online tutor) who is:

• Hyper-focused on helping students succeed
• A team player able to assist the teaching team in grading assignments and providing 1:1 support and guidance to students via chat and video.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable with technology.
• Willing to take on additional responsibilities and tasks.
• Adaptable to ever-changing Track content and platform/coding syntax updates.
• Opportunity to assist student teams during LiveLabs and/or study hall sessions.

Required Qualifications

• Desire to learn new material and work 1:1 with students in that subject.
• Intermediate understanding in one of the following platforms/coding syntax:
• Digital Marketing - Shopify, Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
• Coding for Web - HTML/CSS, Bootstrap and JavaScript
• Data Analytics - Excel and Tableau
• Coding for Data - SQL and Python
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to balance multiple student inquiries in a timely manner.
• Recent university graduate, or current undergrad.
• Must have taken and excelled in both Parts from one Track:
• Digital Marketing
• Coding for Web
• Data Analytics
• Coding for Data

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience tutoring or teaching.
• Experience applying digital marketing, data analytics or coding/web development skills professionally.
• Completed more than one Track of The Global Tech Experience
