Podium’s Coding for Data Track (SQL and Python) is looking for a talented and organized Full-Time Instructor and Coordinator who can demonstrate highly effective live instruction, while also leading the coordination, administration, and implementation of existing synchronous and asynchronous content. This role requires effective management of part-time team members, strong communication skills, and dedication to student success and support. We need someone with an enthusiasm for continual improvement and the ability to adapt quickly to a fast pace and changing environment. 

In this role, you’ll support the Coding for Data delivery team in projects and tasks related to: LiveLab (our synchronous classroom experience), the Instructors and Team Leads (similar to a TA), classroom operations and curriculum delivery and maintenance.You’ll also collaborate with leaders across the organization to ensure curriculum integrity and optimal student experience as we deliver our courses to dozens of university partners. 

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Provide excellent instruction to students through multiple roles including LiveLab Instructor, Team Lead, Academic Support and asynchronous recordings
• Provide operational support and change management as we continue to enhance our learning products and services for quality and scale
• Enhance curriculum and QA learning content and resources as needed
• Work with cross-functional teams to support internal feedback loops with Instructors and Team Leads, as well as manage the staffing of part-time team members

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

• 2+ years of data analytics and teaching experience
• A strategic mindset with the ability to identify problems before they occur and provide solutions that are carried through to completion
• Exceptional writing, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Solid organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail as well as the ability to see and align with big picture needs and goals
• Ability to proactively identify and address issues as they arise
• Ability to flexibly juggle multiple tasks with changing priorities

Other Attributes That Will Help You In This Role:

1. Ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies as needed
2. Experience with online learning (asynchronous) as well as facilitating live instruction (synchronous)
3. Experience collaborating remotely with a distributed team
4. Experience in creating engaging data analysis and/or SQL and Python curriculum, including creating lesson plans for live instruction, designing homework assignments and projects
5. Experience with Canvas or another LMS
