BI Data Analyst (Risk Team) – Utah
Seis is banking built for the 44 million native Spanish speakers living in the US.

Our mission is to build the most delightful, full-service banking experience for anyone who wants to bank in their native Spanish. Our goal is to make such an amazing banking experience that people will wish they spoke Spanish so they could bank with us.
We launched our checking account + debit card product in Q1’22 and are growing very quickly.
We’ve raised over $23 million and are backed by Y Combinator, Goodwater Capital, F Prime (Fidelity), Album VC, Peterson Ventures, and some of the biggest names in fintech, including Immad Akhund (CEO/Founder Mercury), Arash Ferdowsi (Cofounder Dropbox), Max Mullen (Cofounder Instacart), Sam Hodges (CEO/Cofounder Vouch Insurance), Jack Altman (CEO/Cofounder Lattice), Dan Romero (Coinbase), Elad Gil, Shrug Capital, Jason Garcia (Head of Capital Markets @ Mercury), and others.
Here are some things you’ll do on the job:
Dashboards: your first job will be to understand the data needs of your teammates and build them the dashboards they need to better do their jobs. This includes our CMO, VP of Finance, Head of Banking Operations, Head of Customer Support, and others. You’ll be the owner & creator of many reports & dashboards across the entire business.
Empower every employee @ Seis to use the data they need: an important part of your job will be doing whatever it takes to unblock others from using data, whether that’s creating dashboards for team members, training staff members on how to create their own reports, or answering one off questions about how to use our data
Know our business cold: you should know the ins & outs of our business better than anyone. You’ll be explaining to us things we’ve missed, and asking questions that we didn’t even know we should be asking. You’ll give additional context, clarify, and understanding to why our numbers might look a certain way, how we might learn more, and ultimately what could we do about it
Finding product insights that can only be found in data: we’re talking to customers every day & have tons of qualitative data. What we need now is to build the muscle of finding customer & product learnings in our data. We do this a bit already today, but we need to become the best in the business
You’ll know you’re successful when:
Seis team members feel like they can go to you for any data question they have
You have a line out of the door of people asking you for help in using our data
The company builds a culture of asking “what does the data say?” as one of the first questions in making product decisions
Everyone at Seis knows how to use our data & reporting to better do their jobs
About you
You love building dashboards
You love helping your team members do their jobs better using data
You have 1-2 years of experience building dashboards, and you're hungry to continue growing at one of the most exciting consumer fintech startups
You love data because you love using it to take action & improve yourself & the companies you work for. You don’t love data for data’s own sake.
You can explain complicated data & reporting nuances to 5 year olds
You love making your customer – whoever that is – happy & more productive at their job
Experience in consumer fintech & card programs is a plus but not required
Experience with Tableau is a plus but not a requirement
Speaking Spanish is a plus but not a requirement
