We produce VR-based training simulations designed by each industry that teaches novices in the same manner that experts master their crafts - through trial and error. Data-driven simulations work like virtual coaches, adapting to every person’s unique pace. Our immersive Experience Training method helps trainees build confidence in their knowledge and abilities, thus helping acquire the skills required to secure top paying jobs.
As a Strategic Association Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our industry engagement strategy, identifying ecosystem opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your ability to define and execute strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive business growth will be essential to your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Industry Association Strategy:
- Define and develop a comprehensive strategy for engaging with relevant industry associations to enhance brand visibility, drive thought leadership, and establish our company as a prominent figure in the industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the association engagement strategy with overall business goals and product roadmaps.
- Represent the company at association meetings, conferences, and events to strengthen relationships and gather insights.
- Outreach and Networking:
- Plan and execute targeted outreach campaigns to engage new prospects, nurturing existing relationships, and expanding the company's client base.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company, build relationships, and identify potential business opportunities.
- Leverage networking opportunities to foster partnerships, collaborations, and strategic alliances.
- Relationship Development and Pipeline Expansion
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry associations, partners, and community leaders.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop a robust pipeline of opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create content, collateral, and campaigns that support relationship-building and pipeline expansion efforts.
- Ecosystem Opportunity Identification:
- Identify localized ecosystem opportunities through community engagement and partnership building.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create initiatives that contribute to the growth and success of localized communities and ecosystems.
- Leverage market research and data analysis to identify trends and gaps, driving strategic decision-making.
- Curriculum Alignment:
- Work closely with product teams to identify gaps in current offerings and curriculum.
- Develop a strong alignment between product offerings and the needs of the industry by gathering feedback and insights from clients, industry associations, and community leaders.
- Collaborate with product teams to design and implement curriculum enhancements that address identified gaps.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Proven experience (X+ years) in strategic account management, business development, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of industry associations, ecosystems, and community dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to completion.
- Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform strategy.
What we offer
The base salary range for this position is expected to be between $90,000 and $110,000, with the actual base salary amount dependent on a number of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s credentials, relevant experience, and primary job location. In addition to salary this role may be eligible for variable compensation and additional company benefits such as stock options, 401(k), paid vacation and sick time, and medical/dental/vision insurance.
